Cyprus industrial turnover down 9.6% in December

The industrial turnover Index for December 2009 reached 127.6 (base 2005=100), recording a decrease of 9.6% compared with December 2008.
For manufacturing, the turnover index for December 2009 reached 123.2, recording a decrease of 12.4% compared to December 2008.
For the period January-December 2009, the index recorded a decrease of 11.0% compared with the same period of the previous year.
Industrial production in the same period fell by 8%.
