UN Secretary General to discuss Cyprus question in Greece

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will discuss the Cyprus question, among other international issues, during his official visit to Greece where he arrived on Tuesday evening.

On Wednesday, Ban will meet Prime Minister and Foreign Minister George Papandreou, with whom he will also discuss other issues, including Skopje.

Ban is the first UN Secretary General who pays an official visit to Greece. He is currently visiting Athens to speak at the Global Forum on Migration and Development.

After his talk, the UNSG will give a press conference and have a meeting with Greek President Karolos Papoulias, who will host an official lunch in his honour.

In the afternoon Ban will visit the New Akropolis Museum and in the evening he will attend a dinner hosted by Papandreou and his spouse.
