Cyprus petrol sales down m/m in August

The total sales of petroleum products in August 2009 recorded a decrease of 12.0% compared to the previous month.
A significant decline was recorded in the sales of asphalt, light fuel oil and gasoil low sulphur, while a considerable increase was recorded in the sales of gasoil for marine use and kerosene.
The total stocks of petroleum products at the end of the month recorded an increase of 86.4% compared to the previous month.
During the period January – August 2009, the total sales of petroleum products recorded a decrease of 6.5% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
