The Cyprus Technological University (TEPAK) and the Harvard University Public Health School have agreed on four master's programmes and new doctorate programmes for the period 2009-2013.
The Council of Ministers has approved the agreement of cooperation, which replaces the agreement between the Republic of Cyprus and Harvard University.
The aim of the agreement is to establish an Environment and Public Health Institute in the TEPAK Health Science School, with the contribution of Harvard University.
With the agreement, which may be renewed, the Institute is now incorporated in TEPAK.
It was announced in May that the Cyprus International Institute for the Environment and Public Health would move to Limassol and become the second department of TEPAK’s School of Health Sciences, which at present only comprises the School of Nursing.
