Cyprus to host Commonwealth Finance Ministers’ meeting

Cyprus will be hosting a meeting of Commonwealth Ministers of Finance, to take place in Limassol, from September 30 to October 2.

The Council of Ministers has already authorised the Minister of Finance to make the necessary arrangements for organising the meeting in Cyprus.

During the meeting, the Ministers of Finance of Commonwealth members will have the opportunity to discuss the global financial crisis and the reaction of the member states separately and collectively, through their participation in international organisations.

They will also examine future prospects and coordination for financial recovery.
