Opek to host young Cyprus EuroMP candidates

The Association for Social Reform, Opek, will host four young candidates vying for a seat in the June 6 European Parliament elections, to a public debate at the Journalists’ House in Nicosia at 7pm tonight, April 22.
Opek has invited Simos Angelides (Diko), Demetris Papadakis (Edek), Christoforos Phokaides (Disy) and Christos Christofides (Akel) to an open discussion as part of its “Participate – Discuss – Vote” series.
The panelists are expected to respond on issues related to the European Union and its policies, such as the economy, migration, education, environment, ideological trends, research, the future of Europe, etc, while the audience may also pose other questions.
The event will be coordinated by Anna Papasavva of the Daedalos Institute of Geopolitics.
