Cyprus minimum salary of housemaids increases

The Civil Registry and Migration Department of the Ministry of Interior of Cyprus announced that as from January 1, 2009, the housemaids’ minimum gross salary will be adjusted on the contracts every January in line with the increase of the cost of living index.

On the basis of this year's automatic cost of living adjustment, the minimum gross salary has been increased from 410 euro to 422 euro on all existing and new contracts.
