Cyprus Commerce Minister to visit Moscow

Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism Antonis Paschalides departs Friday for Moscow where Cyprus will participate in the 4th International Tourist Exhibition entitled “Intourmarket 2009», organised by the Russian Federation.

According to an official announcement issued here today, Cyprus will be the honored country in this year’s exhibition which will result in additional promotion of the local tourist product.

The announcement adds that during the exhibition, Paschalides will meet his Russian counterpart and deliver a speech at the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

He will, also, have contacts with Russian tourist agents as well as officers of the Cyprus tourist industry who will be participating in the exhibition.

The President of the Cyprus Tourism Organisation and other officials will accompany the Minister to Moscow.
