Cypriot Ambassador dies in London

Director of the Department of Overseas Cypriots at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Stavros A. Epaminondas, has died on Monday in London at the age of 56, it was announced on Wednesday.

Epaminondas was scheduled to undergo an operation at King's College hospital where he was admitted on Sunday.

He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
