Cyprus President of House Foreign Affairs Committee to visit Hong Kong

President of the House Foreign Affairs Committee Averof Neophytou will pay a working visit to Hong Kong at the invitation of the Special Representative of Hong Kong for Financial and Commercial Affairs at the EU.

During his visit, Neophytou will have meetings with local officials, who will brief him on administrative, commercial and cultural issues concerning Hong Kong.

Neophytou will be briefed on local institutions, the financial situation in Hong-Kong, public transports, the legal system, the energy policy and the promotion of energy efficiency, as well as on major infrastructure projects.

He will also discuss with Hong-Kong officials, issues of bilateral commercial relations.

Neophytou will visit the Hong-Kong university and will have meetings with the Head of the European Union Office in Hong Kong and a high ranking officials of the Independent Commission against Corruption.
