Nikkei down 1%, China economy worries weigh

The Nikkei average fell 1 percent on Tuesday as Nippon Steel and other stocks seen linked to growth in emerging economies tumbled on concern about slowing growth in China.
Metal shares such as Sumitomo Metal Mining Co also took a beating after copper and zinc prices slid as investors pull money out of the asset class on fears of slower economic growth. The benchmark Nikkei declined 127.31 points to end at 13,303.60, after rising 2 percent the previous day.
The broader Topix shed 0.7 percent to 1,271.42. (R)
