Salamis Lines is launching a new commercial sea link connecting Salonica, Limassol and the Israeli port of Haifa.

The new cargo vessel link, part of the Salamis Group's expansion plans for its shipping activities, will be carried out by the Akritas RoRo (Roll on/Roll off), which the company has recently acquired.

Salamis will launch the sea route on 12 April and will pass through each destination once a week.

Talking to the Financial Mirror, Salamis CEO Kikis Vasiliou, said that the company is now offering businesses in Greece, Cyprus and Israel the opportunity to further their commercial activities through the new sea link connecting the three countries.

“Services offered by Salamis to the business world are always of excellent quality, reliable and highly professional,” said the Salamis CEO.

The RoRo Akritas has the ability to transport all types of loads such as trailer refrigerators, containers, vehicles, trucks, machinery and general cargo.

Salamis will be conducting the only commercial sea link between the three cities with a RoRo ship.

The ship will dock in Salonica on Fridays, Limassol on Mondays and Tuesdays in Haifa.
