Aiming to welcome its first guests in the autumn of 2019, construction work for the full renovation and expansion of the Princess has commenced to transform the existing hotel into the Radisson Larnaca Beach Resort.

It is the very first Beach Resort by the Radisson Hotel Group worldwide.

Announcing the creation of this new tourist complex on the Larnaca beachfront, Joep Peeters, Senior Vice President, Franchise, Radisson Hotel Group, said the development and reconstruction work is worth over EUR 20 mln and aims to make Radisson Beach Resort "a getaway that will play a key role in the group’s development across the whole of southern Europe, the Middle East and Africa."

According to plan, the Radisson Larnaca Beach Resort will feature 202 luxury rooms, standard, superior and junior suites, three restaurants and two bars, while it will also be suitable for conferences, meetings, wedding receptions and other occasions.

Additionally, the resort will include a freshwater outdoor pool, a kids’ pool, a gym, steam bath, sauna, jacuzzi and spa, kids’ club, a tennis court, water sports activities, and a dance hall.

The Radisson Larnaca Beach Resort, owned by Quality Group, will be operated by Sunnyseeker Hotels, one of Cyprus’ leading companies in hotel management.

Marios Polyviou, CEO of Sunnyseeker Hotels: “Due to these new hotel projects, the city of Larnaca has once again found its place on the international map of prime destinations in the Mediterranean, celebrating the launch of a new way of delivering personalised hospitality services that pays the upmost attention to every detail.”

Referring to this new tourism project, Savvas Kakos, CEO of Quality Group said: “The resort’s prime location, on an exceptional Blue Flag beach, a mere few kilometers from the city center, near the highway, and a few minutes away from the Larnaca International Airport, renders the Radisson Beach Resort unparalleled!”

The Radisson Larnaca Beach Resort aspires to become a year-round destination geared to a wide range of travellers.

Quality and Sunnyseeker are behind the newly opened Radisson Blu in Larnaca – the town’s first luxury hotel since the 1970s. The partnership is also planning executive residency projects with the world known Best Western brand.
