CYPRUS: President to participate in EU – Arab Summit in Athens

President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades will participate in the 3rd EU-Arab Summit in Athens 29 – 30 of October.

The Cypriot President will address the Summit to be attended by heads of state and government of EU and Arab countries.

Issues on the agenda include; Europe and the Arab World in a Challenging Global Environment, European and Arab Neighbourhood Policies in the Mediterranean, Africa and the Middle East, Migration Policies in the Mediterranean, Cooperation with Arab States on Climate Change and Energy Transition. 

Anastasiades will  attend on the 29 October the official dinner hosted by Prime Minister of Greece, Alexis Tsipras, in honour of the leaders of the states participating in the Summit.

On  October 30, the President will address a  dinner organized by the Cypriot Association of Shipowners, in the framework of the annual General Assembly of the Association, in the presence of Cyprus Deputy Minister of Shipping Natasa Pilides.
