Oxley Planetvision Properties has appointed global hotel leader AccorHotels and its luxury Sofitel brand to manage a new 245-room resort in Limassol to open in 2022.
Oxley and Planetvision say they will redefine the landscape of Limassol by “ushering in a new era of prestigious beachfront living and providing an unprecedented lifestyle experience”.
They have agreed with Sofitel, the leading AccorHotels’ brand that encourages guests to “Live the French Way”, to manage the new project which will feature Sofitel’s first lifestyle branded residences in Europe.
The new Sofitel property is being developed in a coastal area at the eastern edge of Limassol to the tune of €300 mln.
The luxury hotel will be situated around the Aoratoi beach area stretching across 100,000 sq.m.
On the same plot, two 20-floor towers will be built consisting of 105 apartments each.

The hotel facilities will include four food and beverage outlets, a pool with deck and terrace, So Fit gym, So Spa, signature Club Millesime Lounge, business centre and several function and event spaces.
The branded residences will feature a lounge, large-scale gym with studio and yoga room, adults-only pool, games room, kids’ playground, function room, and lush gardens where residents may host their guests for barbecues while soaking in the sea views.
Residents will have the privilege of enjoying a la carte services including housekeeping, room service, laundry services and concierge services provided by the adjacent Sofitel hotel.
