Berlin-based Germania airline will be adding three new routes to its Cyprus network for Summer 2019.

In its pledge to upgrade its flights to Cyprus – Germania will launch new routes between Larnaca and Bremen, Dresden and Münster Osnabrück.

Its commitment to Cyprus comes at a time when German tourists are the island’s fifth largest market.

Currently, the airline operates direct flights to and from Paphos Airport from Düsseldorf, Berlin, Hamburg, Nuremberg and Dresden.

Services onboard the low-cost carrier feature drinks and snacks which are included in the ticket price, while a varied entertainment programme is also available on all flights.

Unlike most airlines, Germania boasts that passengers can check-in up to 20kg of baggage at no extra cost.

The airline carries more than 4 million passengers per year to holiday destinations.

Together with Germania Flug AG and Bulgarian Eagle, the company now operates 37 aircraft with a regional focus, outside major hubs.

The airline’s network includes more than 60 destinations in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
