CYPRUS: NUP landscape architecture grads at Greek Forestry Conference

Graduates of the Master of Landscape Architecture of Neapolis University, Pavlos Zanos and George Charalambous, presented papers, which were part of their Master thesis at the 18th Panhellenic Forestry Conference in Edessa.


They were accompanied by Asst. Prof. Julia Georgi, Head  of the Department of Architecture, Land and Environmental Sciences and also attended the first international workshop on Information Technology, Sustainable Development, Scientific Network and Nature Protection.

In particular, Paul Zanos, along with his professor, Dr. Georgi presented a paper at the international workshop on “The public perception towards the Green Areas in Nicosia and the sustainable development of the Linear Park of Pedieos River”, while George Charalambous presented a paper on “Exploitation of Peri-Urban Forests. Case study of Periurbam Forest of Athalassa in Nicosia and Periurban Forest of Pegeia, Paphos.”
