TECHNOLOGY: Alex Mouradian takes on as Sales Director of SAP Hellas as well

The Greece, Cyprus and Malta division of SAP, the leader in enterprise application software, has appointed Alex Mouradian as the Sales Director for Greece, in addition to his role in Malta and Cyprus, where he will maintain his base.


 
With the key objective of maintaining a seamless and smooth operation for SAP in Cyprus and in regards to the day-to-day needs for the provision of services to both its customers and partners, the company has also appointed Petros Papakostas as Business Development Specialist for the company’s daily business operations as well as the digital business development in both Cyprus and Malta.
“This is an accolade for my personal development at SAP, but at the same time it is the result of the excellent cooperation I had over the last ten years with customers, partners and colleagues both in Cyprus and abroad. My personal goal is to transfer knowledge and experience and also contribute through my new position to achieving the strategic goals of our customers, partners and SAP”, said Alex Mouradian after his appointment.
Alex holds a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering with Computing and an MSc in Management from the University of Surrey. He began his career in leading international IT organisations based in London. Since August 2006 he manages SAP Cyprus, which today includes more than 500 customers as well as an ecosystem of authorised SAP channel partners with more than 100 professionals. In April 2014, managing SAP operations in Malta was added to his responsibilities.
Petros Papakostas joined SAP in 2014 in Switzerland. Prior to that, he used to work in Munich, Germany for Nokia. In 2015 he moved to San Francisco to take part in the SAP Academy for Presales, a one-year accelerated intensive programme for early talents. Since January 2016, he is permanently based in Cyprus, having assumed the role of Cloud and Platform Solution Specialist for Cyprus and Malta. Petros holds a MEng degree in in Production Engineering and Management from the Democritus University of Thrace and an MSc in Sustainable Energy Engineering from the University of Nottingham.
