CYPRUS: Demetriades to address ‘investment opportunities’ conference

Organisers of the “Cyprus Investment Opportunities Conference” have succeeded to invite 55 of the most prominent world wide investors to attend to the event to take place later this month.


 
Most of the investors come from the Arab business world and they are known for their interest in investing in new projects in European markets.
The keynote speaker at the event will Transport and Communications Minister Marios Demetriades, who will probably elaborate on the progress of the Limassol port privatisation and invite investments for other infrastructure projects, including marinas.
The event will take place on Thursday, November 24, at the Cyprus Hilton, where the organisers will present a number of interesting investments in Cyprus from the following sectors: real estate development residential and tourist, financial and banking opportunities, energy investment, privatisation of government assets and investments, as well as shipping and logistics.
A number of distinguished speakers will present the projects, including officials from the investment bodies CIPA and CIFA. The international TV channel CNBC will cover the event.
The organisers are the Globe Investments Holdings Ltd in collaboration with their overseas associates Elite MAF Events & Exhibitions and United Exhibitions & Conferences.
The investment conference is being organised with the participation of the employers federation OEV, CIPA and CIFA.
