CYPRUS: RCB receives award for community support

During a charity dinner in aid of the Independent Social Support Body and in the presence of President Anastasiades, officials and guests, First Lady Andri Anastasiades awarded the CEO of RCB Bank Ltd, Dr. Kirill Zimarin, “for supporting the work of the Body and other noble causes.”

 
Anastasiades stated that “Dr. Kirill Zimarin, CEO of RCB Bank Ltd and the bank itself provided their substantial financial support immediately when I explained my vision. This support helped the Body commence its valuable work. And I have to say, that this important support is not limited only to the Body but also extends to many other charity organizations, our athletes and the promotion of culture in Cyprus”
Receiving the award, Dr. Zimarin said that “there is no better legacy than investing in the education of young Cypriots. In this way, you are investing in the very future of our country”.
He reiterated RCB Bank’s commitment to contributing to society and added that “for 21 years now, we have been supporting charity organisations and the development of sports and culture in Cyprus. For us at RCB Bank, this is not just a Corporate Social Responsibility programme. It is part of our culture and the way we do business. This is why it was with great pleasure that we supported the Independent Social Support Body from the very beginning”.
