CYPRUS: Limassol Parklane resort to get €70 mln facelift

L’ Union Nationale (Tourism and Sea Resorts) Limited, owner of the former Le Meridien in Limassol, has reached an agreement with Starwood Hotels & Resorts (soon, Marriott International) for the use of its Luxury Collection Brand in association with its 5-star deluxe beach resort property, the Parklane in Limassol. Designed by The Harrods Design Studio, the property is currently undergoing a EUR 70 mln reconstruction and is scheduled to open its doors in late 2017.


 
Located on 100,000 sq.m. of waterfront land, the Parklane will consist of 53 suites, most with their own private pools, and 222 luxury guestrooms. Among the extensive facilities on offer, will be a 2,000 sq.m. conference centre with a state-of-the-art 1,000 sq.m. theatrical ballroom, ten restaurant and bar outlets, a 2,700 sq.m. Thalasso spa, including three Russian Bagna Suites, and three outdoor swimming pools, including a seawater pool. There will also be the Princess & the Pirate Kids‘ Park consisting of a 400 sq.m. castle, a lake with a pirate ship, water-games and a children’s restaurant.
