CYPRUS: New car sales push registrations up in Jan-April

The registration of motor vehicles recorded a significant annual increase in the first four months of the year, according to data from the statistical service Cystat.

 
In January-April the total registration of motor vehicles increased by 28.6% to 10,135, from 7,881 in January-April 2015.
Of those, 5,435 were new cars and 4,640 used. New cars registered during the same four months last year stood at 3,912 and used cars at 4,608.
The registrations of passenger saloon cars increased by 27.5% to 8,616, from 6,760 in January – April 2015.
