CYPRUS: Dynamic collaboration between CIM and FXTM

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Cyprus Institute of Marketing (CIM) and ForexTime (FXTM) on Tuesday 16 June 2015 at FXTM Headquarters in Limassol, with the aim of promoting collaboration between the private sector and academic institutions, and supporting innovation and the expansion of entrepreneurship in Cyprus with the substantial involvement of new technologies and marketing.

The agreement falls under the framework of both CIM’s and FXTM’s strategy to support innovation and expansion of entrepreneurship. The areas of collaboration include the engagement of CIM students at FXTM, the support of student projects, the awarding of CIM students who excel, the business development of student and graduate ideas, the sharing of expertise in issues related to Trading, Management, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Change Management and Leadership, as well as participation in the annual CIM Summit.

For the past 37 years, CIM has been the leading Cypriot Business School offering academic and professional programmes which have been recognised internationally. In addition it offers training for executives of leading Cypriot businesses. ForexTime (FXTM) is an international forex broker founded in 2012 which offers online trading in forex, precious metals and CFDs.

The agreement was signed by the Deputy Director of CIM, Mr Yiangos Hadjiyiannis, and the Chief Operating Officer of FXTM, Mr Nicholas Defteras.
