CYPRUS: Economy on path to recovery, at OEV conference

The actions of the government, the House of Representatives, as well as the Central Bank of Cyprus and their impact on the recovery of the economy will be the main topic of discussion at a conference organised by employers and industrialists federation OEV next Tuesday at the Philoxenia Conference Centre in Nicosia.

The key speakers at the event, “Cyprus Economy: the road to recovery”, will be Finance Minister Haris Georghiades, House Finance Committee Chairman Nicolas Papadopoulos, Central Bank Governor Chrystalla Georghadji and OEV Chairman Christos Michaelides.
Coordinating the panel will be Stephanos Kotziamanis of Eurokerdos magazine.
The topics of discussion include “Current State of the Economy and Fiscal Policy”, a round-table discussion on the “Financial and Banking Sector” and a conclusion on “Development Policy and Actions”.
