In a state of renewal, the election of the new Board of Directors of the Cyprus Land and Building Developers Association took place recently. Well-known young business man, Panikos L. Livadhiotis, one of the owners of Lefteris Livadhiotis and Sons Group, was appointed Secretary General of the board. Mr. Livadhiotis has been a member of the Association for the past ten years and part of the board of directors since 2009.
Mr. Livadhiotis stated: “I would like to thank the members of the Association for trusting me with their vote for this very coveted position; we have a tremendous amount of value to add to our economy and people’s lives, and this year will be the year we will lead our economy to recovery. The construction industry has managed to attract 1 billion Euros of international investment during the last 2 difficult years, and such investments contribute tremendously in the economy’s recovery and the increase of work positions”
Founded in 1983, the Cyprus Land and Building Developers Association is a member of the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation as well as the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI). Members of the Association comprise industry professionals who meet strict entry requirements. The new board (2015-2017) is responsible for managing the Association and forming its strategy. As the Secretary General of the Association, Mr. Livadhiotis, along with other members of the board of directors, will participate in official meetings with the President of the Republic, Ministries, and Banks, in negotiations with foreign investors and in talks during Troika’s visit to Cyprus.
A Florida International University graduate with a degree in Hospitality Real Estate and Entrepreneurship, Panikos L. Livadhiotis, holds an executive position in the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI) for more than 6 years, and a real estate broker license in Florida since 2004. In 2010, he became a member of RICS (Royal Institute of Charter Surveyors).
