CYPRUS: Aphrodite Hills Resort awarded â€œBest Golf Hotel"

The award winning five-star leisure, golf and real estate development in Cyprus which combines the five-star InterContinental hotel with an indulgent spa, championship golf course and a first class tennis academy, announced that the InterContinental Aphrodite Hills Resort Hotel has won “Cyprus Best Golf Hotel’ and the Aphrodite Hills Golf has won “Cyprus Best Golf Course” the at the first-ever World Golf Awards 2014 ceremony which took place on 15th November in Algarve, Portugal.

World Golf Awards serves to celebrate and reward excellence in golf tourism, world class courses and golf destinations. These inaugural awards are focused on the leading 130 nations who are shaping the future of this dynamic industry.

The worldwide voting process began in May. Votes were made by professionals working within the golf travel and tourism industry – senior executives, travel buyers, tour operators, agents and media professionals, as well as the golf tourism consumers.
