Action Global Communications, as project leader of EU Neighbourhood Info Centre, supports the success of the photo exhibition ‘Faces of the Neighbourhood: Travelling across EU cooperation with its Southern and Eastern Neighbours’. The exhibition is reflective of the great work done by the EU Neighbourhood Info Centre, an EU-funded communication project that focuses in particular on activities supported by the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI).

Over the past six years there have been many initiatives spearheaded by ENPI, which have seen political decisions turned into actions on the ground. These milestones were recently showcased in the photo exhibition coordinated by Action’s Brussels office, under the patronage of the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and opened to the public in Brussels on 30 September 2014.

The exhibition brings together photos taken for the EU Neighbourhood Info Centre by photographers of Agence France-Presse (AFP) and the European Pressphoto Agency (EPA). Showcasing examples of cooperation in sectors as diverse as migration, environment, research and youth, across all the countries of the region – south and east – the exhibition illustrates concrete activities and projects that derive from a major EU external relations policy, and demonstrates the human face of EU cooperation.

Dimitris Ioannides, Action Cyprus General Manager, said: “Action Cyprus, is proud to support the exhibition which serves as yet another example to highlight the achievements of the ENPI over the past six years.”

The countries participating in the ENPI are Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and Russia. ‘Faces of the Neighbourhood’ will run until 14 November 2014, 9.00-17.00, at the Info Point Europa, Rue Archimède 1, Brussels.
