GREECE: Samaras to represent Anastasiades at EU and EPP meetings

Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras will be representing President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades at the European Council and EPP sessions, where he will present the positions of the Republic of Cyprus.

In a written statement, Government Spokesman Nicos Christodoulides says Samaras visited the President earlier on Thursday at his hotel in Brussels, and wished him a speedy recovery.

President Anastasiades had been admitted to a hospital in Brussels with high blood pressure and was later discharged.
