Cyprus Foreign Ministry advises against all travel to Libya

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus has issued a travel advice for Libya due to security reasons.

An official announcement says that the Ministry advises the citizens of the Republic of Cyprus who are permanent residents or working or intend to travel to Libya against all travel to the country, as the security situation continues to deteriorate.

All Cypriot citizens who reside in the country are advised to limit their movement, inform the Cypriot competent Authorities on their current status and monitor news reports both international and local for developments, the Ministry stresses.
