Cyprus trade deficit narrows to €512 mln in Jan-Feb

Total imports/arrivals from third countries and EU member states in January-February amounted to €729,1 mln, compared to €803,2 mln in January-February 2013, according to the Statistical Service of Cyprus, Cystat.
In its monthly report for February, Cystat that total exports/dispatches in January-February were €217,0 mln compared to €226,0 mln in January-February 2013.
The trade deficit was thus reduced to €512,1mn in January-February compared to €577,2 mln in the corresponding period of 2013.
During February, total imports/arrivals reached €331,4 mln. Exports/dispatches totalled €106,2 mln.
Εxports/dispatches of domestically produced goods, including stores and provisions, were €58,3 mln whilst exports/dispatches of foreign goods, including stores and provisions, were €47,9 mln.
