Cyprus tourism revenue up in February

Revenue from tourism saw an increase of more than 10% in February this year, compared to the same month last year.

According to a press release by the Cyprus Statistical Service, on the basis of the results of the Passenger Survey, revenue from tourism reached €31.3 mln in February 2014 compared to €28.3 mln in the corresponding month of the previous year, recording an increase of 10.5%.

For the period January – February 2014 revenue from tourism is estimated to €62.1 mln compared to €59.2 mln in the corresponding period of 2013, recording an increase of 4.8%.
