Cyprus President meets in Brussels with Ban Ki-moon

Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades meets in Brussels, on Wednesday, with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

Their meeting takes place on the sidelines of an EU – Africa Summit, an official press release says.
President Anastasiades, who departed for Brussels on Wednesday morning, meets with Ban at 1930 Cyprus time (1630 GMT).

He then travels from Brussels to Athens where on Friday he unveils a monument to mark the EOKA 1955 – 59 struggle against British rule in Cyprus.
President Anastasiades, who is accompanied by Government Spokesman Christos Stylianides and his Diplomatic Office’s Director Nicos Christodoulides returns to Cyprus in the evening of April 4.
