Low fares now connect Vilnius with sunny Larnaca
Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, announced a new route from Vilnius from June 2014. The new service will be operated on one of the airline’s new Airbus A320 aircraft from 22 June 2014 and will be a direct connection from Lithuania to Cyprus.
Wizz Air’s route network in Vilnius will now grow to a total of 17 routes to 12 different countries. The airline believes this is good news for the job market in aviation and tourism sectors in both cities as consumers will have access to more low cost routes. Seats on the new Vilnius-Larnaca route are already on sale from just 40.26 EUR and can be booked on wizzair.com.
The rich history, the monuments and the architecture of the city are some of the remarkable elements that attract thousands of tourists who choose to visit Vilnius. Breath-taking forests and little villages in Lithuania, in combination with the local people create a strong sense of connection with nature making Lithuania a place worth visiting.
