Cyprus trade deficit records a decrease in 2014

Cyprus trade deficit decreased by 15.46 million euro in January 2014, falling at 275.57 million from 291.03 million in January 2013.

According to the Statistical Service of the Republic of Cyprus, on the basis of preliminary estimates for Foreign Trade of Cyprus in January 2014, total imports / arrivals were 382.2 million, of which 265.6 million were arrivals from other Member States of E.U. and 116.6 million imports from Third Countries.

Total exports/dispatches were 106.6 million of which 60.4 million were dispatches to other Member States of E.U. and 46.2 million exports to Third Countries.
