Cyprus National Council evaluates President’s contacts in US

The National Council convenes Wednesday morning under President Nicos Anastasiades to evaluate the results of his contacts recently, in New York and Washington.

The session of the National Council, the top advisory body to the President on the handling of the question of Cyprus, is expected to start at 10 am Cyprus time (GMT 0700), at the Presidential Palace.

Later this afternoon, President Anastasiades will talk to the press about his contacts in the US.

The President of the Republic addressed last week the United Nations General Assembly in New York and met, among others, with US Vice President Joe Biden in Washington.
