1 in 100 Cypriot smokers has registered with iCoach to kick the habit

“Ex-Smokers are Unstoppable”, the European Commission’s campaign to support smokers in becoming smoke-free for life proudly announces that 1 in 100 Cypriot smokers is currently seeking help through iCoach. iCoach offers practical support to those who want to stop smoking, as well as those who are curious to know more but have yet to make up their mind.

Across Europe nearly 400,000 people have sought help to quit smoking via iCoach to date, 73,000 of which have enrolled through ‘Quit Smoking With Barca’ programme (and the FCB iCoach).

iCoach is a digital tool available for FREE in 23 languages including Greek. It has no time limitation for users. Therefore, users can progress at their own pace until they manage to quit. This program offers users interactive functions such as a daily diary, useful advice, access to forums, but also mini tests that give them both encouragement and a better insight into their progress.

iCoach is also available as a free Application for smart phones and tablets Android and iPhone. These applications have been downloaded by more than 106,000 people throughout Europe.

The Ex-Smokers campaign’s outreach through Facebook has exceeded 4.2 million people on the country specific Unstoppable Facebook pages that are updated daily, with news and tips. In Cyprus people can visit www.facebook.com/Unstoppable.kypros
