UK and Ireland travel company TUI to hold conference in Cyprus

UK and Ireland tourist operator TUI will be holding its retail conference in the Cypriot seaside resort of Ayia Napa between November 3 and 6.

An Ayia Napa Municipality press release issued here today notes that the conference takes place as a result of the efforts undertaken by Ayia Napa Mayor Yiannis Karousos and the Municipal Council.
The TUI conference is considered the largest and most important event to take place both within and outside the UK, the press release says.

It adds that over 1000 travel agents who are responsible for TUI packages across the world will participate in the conference.
TUI UK & Ireland is part of the TUI Travel PLC Group. According to the TUI Travel PLC Group website Thomson and First Choice, part of TUI UK & Ireland, take over 5.5 million customers away each year, making them the UK’s largest holiday company.
