Cyprus as a regional business centre to be promoted in Israel

A business forum will take place in Tel Aviv on May 7 with an aim to promote Cyprus as a regional business service centre and an attractive investment destination.

The Forum will be organized by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) and the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism on the occasion of the official visit of Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades to Israel.
According to a CCCI press release issued here today, President Anastasiades will also address the Forum.

The CCCI business delegation to Israel and the Forum is being organized in collaboration with the Cyprus-Israel Business Association, the Enterprise Europe Network and the Chamber of Israel.
The CCCI delegation will be headed by Chamber’s Tourism Vice – President Dinos Lefkaritis and comprised large number of businessmen engaged mainly in services, land development sector but also in trade (import / export) industry / joint ventures and business activities between Cyprus and Israel generally.

The agenda of the Forum has been set in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of Israel with the aim of increasing participation of businessmen who will hold business meetings to promote mutual investments between the two countries.
During the Forum, Minister of Energy, Industry and Tourism George Lakkotrypis will outline Cyprus’ advantages and strategic position in the energy sector.
