Cypriot MP in Dublin and Brussels to address money laundering allegations

Chairman of the Committee on Foreign and European Affairs of the House of Representatives, Averof Neophytou, will be holding meetings with EU officials and MPs, in Dublin and Brussels, in the framework of a House decision to address allegations regarding money laundering in Cyprus and explain the legal and institutional situation for combating such phenomena.

Neophytou will be flying to Dublin on Sunday and will hold meetings on the sidelines of the COSAC Chairpersons` Meeting, organised by the Irish Presidency of the EU on January 27 and 28.

He will then fly to Brussels to participate, along with a House delegation, in the first meeting of the European Parliamentary Week, on the European Semester, organised by the European Parliament from January 28 to 30.
