Cyprus FM issues Travel advice for Lebanon

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a travel advice for Lebanon, advising citizens of the Republic of Cyprus to avoid traveling to certain areas.

In a press release it notes the travel advice is for the citizens of the Republic of Cyprus who are permanent residents, travelling or intend to visit Lebanon.
“In view of the security issues in the country, the citizens of the Republic of Cyprus are advised to avoid travel to certain areas”, notes the Foreign Ministry, adding that citizens are requested to follow regularly “the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website as well as the Facebook page of Crisis Management Department which is linked to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs homepage.

In case of emergency, it adds, the Cypriot citizens may contact the duty officer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on +357 99660129 or the Crisis Management Department on +357 22801000 or the Embassy of the Republic in Beirut, as per the contact details below:
