Cyprus industrial production tumbles 14.2% y/y in March

Industrial Production dropped by 14.2% over the same month of the previous year in March 2012, according to the Statistical Service.
The main decline came from manufacturing, where there was a fall of 13.4% compared with March 2011.
For the first quarter of the year, industrial production fell by 10.8% compared to the same period of the previous year.
Meanwhile, both industrial output prices and manufacturing prices in April 2012 rose by 0.4% compared with March.
In the period January-April 2012, the industrial output prices rose by 8.0% compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.
