Cyprus retail trade slows in Oct (prov)

Retail trade growth slowed in October according to provisional data, rising by 0.2% compared with October 2010, having grown by 0.6% in September and 2.7% in August.
For the first ten months of the year, retail sales are provisionally estimated to have grown by 0.3% compared with the first ten months of 2010.
The value of retail trade is provisionally estimated to have risen by 2.3% in the same period.
According to revised figures, retail sales volumes fell by 3.4% compared with the previous month in September.
