Trade turnover ex vehicles up 6% in H1

Trade turnover increased in the first half of the year compared with the same period of 2010 according to the latest figures on wholesale and retail trade that exclude repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles.
For the period January-June 2011 the Index recorded an increase of 6.0% compared with the corresponding period of 2010.
In April-June 2011 the index increased by 6.9% compared with January-March 2011.
As for the index that includes motor vehicles, this dropped by 2.5% compared with the same period of 2011 but increased by 1.4% in April-June, when compared with the previous quarter.
