The International Conference GLOBAL RUSSIA BUSINESS MEETING 2011 will be organized in Cyprus by the Horasis Global Visions Community Organization on 10th and 11th of April.

The conference will be held in Limassol, on the southern coast, under the auspices of the President of the Republic Demetris Christofias and hosted by the Republic and the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA).

The GLOBAL RUSSIA BUSINESS MEETING, which is being organized in Cyprus for the first time, is one of the leading meetings of business leaders and senior government officials from Russia and globally, according to the organizers.

During the conference, there will be a presentation of issues and an exchange of views and debate on the challenges and opportunities emerging for Russia in the current global economic environment.

The conference aims to stimulate thinking and action for the constant economic success of Russian companies in a globalized world.

The conference is expected to contribute to further strengthening the already excellent relations between Cyprus and Russia and increase the contribution of Russian investment to the development of the local economy.

Referring to GLOBAL RUSSIA BUSINESS MEETING, CIPA President Phidias Pilides said, inter alia, that ''this Conference allows us to expand the cooperation between the two countries, while at the same time it provides an important platform for knowledge and exchange of experiences.”

Horasis Global Visions Community President Dr. Frank Richter has expressed satisfaction over the fact that Horasis is organizing this important event in Cyprus, gathering here top economic officials from all around the world.

The Conference is supported by many international and Russian organizations. The initiative of CIPA to host the meeting is part of the Organization’s broader efforts to promote Cyprus as an attractive business and investment destination.
