Cyprus industrial production declines in Jan

The index of industrial production reached 85.2 (base 2005=100) in January, recording a decrease of 4.1% compared with January 2010.
For manufacturing alone, the production index fell by 7.5% compared with January 2010.
Meanwhile, the index for industrial output prices reached 124.6 units (base 2005=100) in February, recording an increase of 0.1% compared with January 2011, while the manufacturing subindex for prices was stable.
For the period January-February 2011, the price index increased by 4.0% compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.
