Motor regs down 5.7% in Jan

Motor registrations continued to decline in January but at a much milder pace than for much of 2010.
In January 2011, total registrations of motor vehicles reached 3,251, compared with the 3,448 recorded in January 2010, thus marking a fall of 5.7%.
However, in January 2010 registrations had decreased by 22.6% and declined in double digits six out of the 12 months.
Registrations of private saloon cars in January decreased by 4.1% to 2,497 from 2,604 in January 2010.
