Cyprus Foreign Minister to visit Qatar

According to an official announcement, in Doha, Kyprianou will meet the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country, Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabr Al-Thani, with whom he will discuss bilateral relations as well as other international and regional issues.

Kyprianou will also brief Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabr Al-Thani on the progress of the direct negotiations on the Cyprus problem, aiming to reunite the country, divided since the 1974 Turkish invasion.

The Minister will return to Cyprus via Beirut on Wednesday evening.
