Cyprus trade deficit widens in Jan-Nov

The trade deficit widened in January-November to EUR 4.81 bln, from EUR 4.22 bln in the same period of 2009, according to provisional figures for November.
Total exports in January-November reached a provisional EUR 1.04 bln, compared with EUR 888,420 in November 2009.
Total imports were reported at EUR 5.85 bln, compared with EUR 5.22 bln.
In November alone, total imports/ arrivals reached a provisional EUR 660.0 mln, of which EUR 415.8 mln were arrivals from other Member States of the EU and EUR 244.2 mln imports from third countries.
Total exports/dispatches reached EUR 109.2 mln of which EUR 70.5 mln were dispatches to other Member States of the EU and EUR 38.7 mln exports to third countries.
