Wholesale turnover value up 4% in Jan-Sep

The value index for turnover of wholesale trade (excluding motor vehicles and motorcycles) increased by 2.5% in July-September 2010 compared with the previous three months.
For the period January-September 2010, the value index recorded an increase of 4.0% compared with the corresponding period of 2009.
Meanwhile, the value index including and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles fell by 3.1% over the previous period in July-September 2010, reflecting falling car sales.
