Cyprus petroleum sales down 1.7% in Jan-Sep

Sales of petroleum products in September 2010 recorded an increase of 14.5% compared with the previous month according to the Statistical Service.
It said that a “considerable increase” was noted in the sales of Asphalt, Kerosene, Gasoil, Light and Heavy Fuel Oil and Gasoil Low Sulphur, while a decrease was recorded in the sales of Aviation Kerosene.
The total stocks of petroleum products at the end of the month recorded an increase of 4.5% compared to the previous month.
During the period January – September 2010 total sales of petroleum products recorded a decrease of 1.7% compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.
